Thanks for the positive mental energy!

I just wanted to say that my laptop cords and batteries arrived safely (after having been jammed in the trunk of the car in W. Yellowstone), and my computer is in better shape than my foot. We went to the orthopedist on Wednesday, and surgery seems to be the next course of action, which means 4-5 more weeks recovery here in Idaho (after which I can travel back to Sweden) and a total of three months on crutches afterwards, followed by a few more months of physical therapy. So its going to be kind of a long road to recovery, but I still have to say that I feel really lucky. I've been watching a lot of daytime TV, which is rife with extreme makeovers and cop shows. I cringe every time there is a car crash or surgery. I haven't really had any "flashbacks" of the accident, but it sends a chill down my spine every time I think about how horrible it really could have been. And, its good to be back!
